William Brunstad

Founding member

William "Bill" Brunstad is the founder and leader of Brunstad Law, with over 35 years of legal and business experience.  As a member of the executive committee at McCullough Sherrill, LLP and later a senior partner Seyfarth Shaw, Bill has experience as the head of some of the most successful real estate groups in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Bill represents developers, investors, institutional lenders, and individuals in a variety of complex and challenging commercial real estate transactions. His expertise includes retail shopping centers, net lease facilities, office buildings, mixed-use developments, and industrial projects. Bill also provides Bunstad Law with experience in representation of foreign individuals and institutional investors in assets located in the United States.

As a talented real estate lawyer, Bill has developed a sharp understanding of corporate structuring, corporate debt and debt restructuring. Bill’s value to our clients is enhanced by his business experience which includes over 15 years as the COO and founder of a mezzanine lending fund as well as a renewable energy firm.
